but since its fresh, i can talk about Tuesday training.
Pacing!
Today's run was central park's lower loops - 3 times around. 1st time round should have been an easy pace- kinda like the long runs - all conversational... 2nd should have been 10-15 seconds shorter, and 3rd was to be 20-25 seconds shorter than the 2nd.
i dont have a watch.
hahahah.
so i guess there that goes. we did the full 5.1 miles in 56 minutes though. (or was it 54...?)
aiy.
and i was getting a pain in my foot, that i hadn't felt before :
right THERE --->
the left foot, on that side. started up my second loop around, and i just ran through it (and the other random pains - side, etc...)
coach said it was my metatarsel (english?), and i should ice it, and chill if the pain stays...
i was cool walking to the train station, but then i hit the STAIRS.
*ow.*
so anyway...that's that.
considering my run's in SF, should you New Yorkers care to come support me running, i'll actually be participating in the Queens Half this Sunday. HOLLER !
so this past saturday, we did a 3 bridge run ::
Manhattan :
Williamsburg:
(and back)
Brooklyn :
and the rain didnt even come through til the afternoon... making my charity cookout quite a homey experience...
but it was cool nonetheless!
Brooklyn friendly folk - Hit me for info on our Saturday Brunch!!
